About the Studio
In Jan of '08, Phil and I walked into a dark, smelly, funky, 100+ year old building on the square in downtown Moultrie, and decided that it was our dream studio!
After we bought this building, we got to work, and stripped it down to bare bones. We pulled down a couple layers of shiny yellow paneling, and I don't know how much old wallpaper. We took down yards and yards of insulation and disgusting drop ceiling. We pulled up flooring and the plumbing and pretty much everything except for the walls and roof, and we discovered wonderful surprises at every corner.
This old place has amazing character and history, and we feel like this building is the perfect setting for our own unusual and avant garde style.
You won't find any other building quite like this in Moultrie, but then again... you won't find any other artist quite like us 'round here, either!
